President

Chris Garcia

Chris received his TCOLE license in 1998 and continues to serve his community to this date as a reserve Bexar County Deputy Fire Marshal – Arson Investigator. Within his 20 plus years of service, he was honored to serve in several specialized units. While with the Austin Police Department, these units included Fugitive Apprehension, Metro Tactical Response, and the APD Bomb Squad as a full-time Hazardous Devices Technician (bomb tech) & Search/Recovery SCUBA Diver. While with the VIA Metro Transit Police Department, he served as a full-time Explosive Canine Handler.

Chris attended and completed both the FBI’s Hazardous Devices School at Redstone Arsenal and the TSA Canine Handler Course at Lackland AFB. He has over 4600 hours of TCOLE training, which include: SWAT School, Dynamic Entry, Patrol Rifle, Unexploded Ordinance Tech, Underwater Explosive Specialist, Explosive Breacher, Hazmat Tech, numerous Weapons of Mass Destruction, Threat & Risk Assessment, Arson Investigation, and FEMA 100-800.

Chris holds his Master Peace Officer and Instructor licenses through TCOLE and his Arson Investigator license through TCFP. He is also licensed by DPS – Private Security as Level 3, Level 4, and Firearms & Classroom Instructor.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Chris is also licensed by TREC as the Real Estate Broker at Watchmen Realty LLC.

Martin Garcia

In 1997, Martin enlisted in the United States Army where he graduated as a Distinguished Honor Grad. Martin worked as an Enhanced Patriot Missile Operator & Maintainer. He was stationed in Germany, where he completed his tour.

Martin then pursued and received his TCOLE license. He served as a peace officer with the Balcones Heights Police Department, where he spent 10+ years as a Sergeant Investigator. Martin retired from BHPD, but still holds his peace officer license as a reserve Sergeant with the Bexar County Constables office.

Martin has an extensive training & certification background to include: Arson/Fire Investigator License, Advanced Evidence & Crime Scene Technician, FBI Hostage Negotiation Certification, FBI Human Behavioral Analysis Certification, G.R.A.C.I.E Police Instructor Certification, FEMA 100-800, Narcotics and Explosive K9 Handler.

Martin holds his Master Peace Officer license through TCOLE. He is also licensed by DPS - Private Security as Level 3, Level 4, and Firearms Instructor.

Martin attended and completed the Leadership Trilogy FBI LEEDA School (Command Institute, Supervisor Leadership, and Executive Leadership).

Mike Summers

Mike started his Law Enforcement Career in 1997 with the Austin Texas Police Department. During his time with APD, Mike worked in several high tempo units including: Crisis Intervention Team, Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the Domestic Violence Emergency Response Team. Mike also worked on the Critical Incident Negotiation Team as a Hostage Negotiator.

Mike has spent 20 years providing professional guard services to many high profile customers in the Austin area. Mike has always been dedicated to family and selfless service. His clients become a part of his extended family.

Mike retired from the Austin Police Department in 2021 as an Operations Lieutenant. Mike continues to provide professional guard services as well as consult as a subject matter expert on law enforcement operations and facility/employee security.

Mike holds his Master Peace Officer and Instructor licenses through TCOLE and his security license through DPS - Private Security.

Mike has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Edward’s University in Austin Texas.
